Temporary Semi-Autonomous Gallery presents "Monument (Couldn't Have Done It Without You)" by Gary Wiseman. The work will grow and change throughout August, and remain on display in finished state through September.

Did you even remember that this was a Bee Gees song, and the Dolly Parton version was just a cover? This video proves it's all true.

So anyway, this is an official update of current New Oregon Arts 'n' Letters programming. There's no YouTube link for it, unfortunately. Maybe next month we'll sing & dance the update instead...

** That's a picture of a squirrel at Lone Fir Cemetery, near this summer's TSA Gallery location. It was shot with a digital point-and-shoot that one of our humans picked up in Thailand for next to nothing. That human, by the way, isn't much of a photographer. No offense. Anyway, it is not a professional photograph of Gary Wiseman's work. Gary Wiseman (who *is* much of a photographer, incidentally—did you know that?) has stated that his "Monument..." installation at TSA will *not* involve this particular street squirrel.
