The community is 2GQ, and we couldn’t do it without you. Our three principals are:
Tiffany Lee Brown: Founder, director, and editor. Interdisciplinary artist, performer, and writer, Tiffany is also an editor of PLAZM magazine.
Clare Carpenter: Production manager. A letterpress printer and book artist, Clare also works in installation and is the proprietress of Tiger Food Press.
Nora Robertson: Assistant editor. A writer and performer, Nora saw her poem “How to Boil an Egg” become a finalist for the Pushcart Prize in Poetry.
HOW CAN I HELP?
At the moment, our primary needs are:
• Financial donations, over 90% of which are spent directly on programming, not on administration or overhead. All our staff volunteer their time. Your donations go straight to making art happen. And yes, you can have a charity receipt for tax purposes. ONLINE: Specify "2GQ" in the "designation" box of the Network for Good charity website. OFFLINE: Send a check to the address below.
• Documentation services. Professional photographers and videographers can help us reach a wider audience, secure grants, and document our work for future website and book projects. We’d love your help.
• Fundraising. Want to throw a dinner salon, auction, or other fundraiser for 2GQ? Talk to us. Email magdalen23 at gmail dot com.
• Grantwriting.
Seasoned grantwriters who are willing to work pro bono or for a small
percentage can write grants for us or just offer advice on the grants
we write ourselves.
• Online publishing and promotional assistance. Are you a web designer or hardcore blogger/social networker? Volunteer!
Thank you for your support and interest. And another way you can help? Kick back and enjoy our programming. Come to our shows, buy our books, and let your friends know about our work.
